<p>While Eating the Traditional Passover Meal with His Disciples, Jesus &#8230;</p>
<ul>
<li>Took Bread</li>
<li>Gave Thanks for the Bread</li>
<li>Broke the Bread</li>
<li>Gave the Bread to His Disciples</li>
<li>Said to Take and Eat is as His Body</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Took the Cup</li>
<li>Gave Thanks for the Cup</li>
<li>Offered the Cup (and all drank)</li>
</ul>
<blockquote><p><span id="more-1225"></span>While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, &#8220;Take it; this is my body.&#8221; Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, and they all drank from it.</p>

<li>Took Consecrated Bread</li>
<li>Gave Bread to His Men</li>

<blockquote><p><span id="more-1191"></span>One Sabbath Jesus was going through the grainfields, and his disciples began to pick some heads of grain, rub them in their hands and eat the kernels. [...] Jesus answered them, &#8220;Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry?  He entered the house of God, and taking the consecrated bread, he ate what is lawful only for priests to eat. <p>Jesus Gave the Disciples Something to Remember, so They Could Also Take It, Give Thanks for It, Break It, and Give It to Us as a Memory-Building Symbolism.</p>
