The Boy, in the Exorcism Process, Experienced a Kind of Death and Resurrection

Shrieked (through the boy?)
Convulsed (the boy’s body violently)
Came (out– as commanded by Jesus)

The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He’s dead.”

Jesus’ Exorcism of the Demon was Almost as Traumatic for the Boy and His Community as it was for the the Evil Spirit

He Rebuked the Spirit
He Healed the Boy
He Gave the Boy Back to His Father

Even while the boy was coming, the demon threw him to the ground in a convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the evil spirit, healed the boy and gave him back to his father.
