Mark 9:26 
The Boy, in the Exorcism Process, Experienced a Kind of Death and Resurrection 

• Shrieked (through the boy?)
• Convulsed (the boy’s body violently)
• Came (out– as commanded by Jesus)

The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He’s dead.”

Jesus’ Exorcism of the Demon was Almost as Traumatic for the Boy and His Community as it was for the the Evil Spirit
