Mark 2:9, 11-12a

Mark 2:9, 11-12a
Jesus’ Question was Much More than Rhetorical

  • Get Up — he got up
  • Take Your Mat — he took his mat
  • Walk (Go Home) — he walked out for all to see

Which is easier: to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, take your mat and walk’? [...] “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.”  He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all.
