Luke 9:7-9

Luke 9:7-9
Herod was a Victim of His Own Willingness to Listen to Rumors about Jesus

Was He …

  • John the Baptist Resurrected after Herod’s Execution Order?
  • Elijah Re-Embodied in Jesus?
  • One of the Other Great Prophets Re-Embodied in Jesus?

Now Herod the tetrarch heard about all that was going on. And he was perplexed, because some were saying that John had been raised from the dead, others that Elijah had appeared, and still others that one of the prophets of long ago had come back to life.  But Herod said, “I beheaded John. Who, then, is this I hear such things about?” And he tried to see him.

The Truth about John’s Mission, Life, and Ministry was Even More Amazing than the Rumor-Claims, and the Truth about Jesus was– and IS– More Amazing Still
