Opened Eyes, Fertile Fields and High Quality Seeds

Seeds4Sermons.com: a free resource for searching, studying, and building messages on the “natural sermon outlines” in Scripture.

We list every paralleled set of words or phrases as a basis for outlining sermons. These dynamically fertile seeds of truth in God’s Word are the raw material, the core elements, the solid foundation on which to build well-developed messages centered on Scriptural substance. We hope it will be used to great effect when planted in the hearts and minds of any person interested in studying and sharing the Word as truth.

We will always allow access to the basic material, but we will soon offer a monthly paid subscription to additional resources (such as detailed sermon outlines, illustration materials, and other service and message tools).

Luke 8:14-15

Luke 8:14-15
Worry is a Thorny Way to Live

  • Life’s Worries
  • Life’s Riches
  • Life’s Pleasures

Hearing is NOT the Same as Believing

  • Hear the Word
  • Retain the Word
  • Persevere in the Word

The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.

Jesus Developed a Very Practical (and Literary) Metaphor in the Seeds and Soils Parable
